This 2017 1 oz Silver Kangaroo coin features a highly detailed and recognized design. The obverse displays the 4th effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, facing right, adorned with the Royal Diamond Diadem. The inscriptions "ELIZABETH II," "AUSTRALIA," and the denomination "1 DOLLAR" encircle the portrait. The initials of the designer, Ian Rank-Broadley ("IRB"), are subtly placed at the base of the Queen's neck. Another monumental accomplishment occurred in October 2011, when the Perth Mint created the world's largest, heaviest, and most valuable gold coin.
